Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and OwnerBot LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, for using OwnerBot. Please read them before you sign up.
Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account, including a free account, or using OwnerBot, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use OwnerBot for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that business. You must be at least 18.
What OwnerBot does
OwnerBot is a marketing assistant for small and local businesses. You talk to it in plain English, and it reads data from the accounts you connect, suggests work, and makes the changes you approve. Features depend on your plan and on what each connected platform allows.
Your account and connected accounts
You are responsible for your OwnerBot login and for everything done under it. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access.
When you connect Google Business Profile, Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, WordPress, review sites or lead sources, you give OwnerBot permission to access and act on those accounts within the permissions you granted. You confirm you own those accounts or are allowed to connect them. You also agree to follow each platform's own terms, which still apply to your use of that platform.
You can disconnect any account at any time. Some features stop working when you do.
Approvals and your responsibility for content
OwnerBot asks for your approval before it publishes content, sends messages to your customers or changes your ads, website or listings, unless you tell it to handle a type of task on its own. You are responsible for what you approve and for anything you set OwnerBot to do on its own.
You are responsible for the content you give us and for having the right to use it, such as job photos and customer contact details. You agree to get any consent the law requires before OwnerBot texts, calls or emails your customers or leads.
AI output
OwnerBot uses AI models, including models from third-party providers, to draft answers, posts, replies and changes. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Review it before you approve it. OwnerBot does not give legal, tax or financial advice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use OwnerBot to:
- Post fake reviews, pay for reviews, or ask for reviews in ways the review platform does not allow
- Send spam or messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you
- Publish content that is false, misleading, unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights
- Break the rules of Google, Meta or any other connected platform
- Try to access other customers' data, overload the service, or copy or reverse engineer it
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
No guaranteed results
We work to improve your marketing, but we do not promise specific rankings, reviews, leads or revenue. Platforms like Google and Meta control their own systems and can change them at any time. Any written guarantee we offer, such as the 30-day money-back guarantee, applies only under its own stated terms.
Plans, billing and cancellation
A free account costs nothing and needs no card. Paid plans are Starter at $197 per month and All in One at $497 per month, billed monthly in advance with no long-term contract. Founding members (the first 100 paying businesses) pay $147 or $397 per month and keep that price while their subscription stays active. There is no setup fee. A website is $500 one-time plus $25 per month for hosting. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices do not include sales tax. We add sales tax where the law requires it, based on where your business is located.
Plans are unlimited for one business, subject to fair use. Fair use rules out reselling OwnerBot or using it to run other businesses' marketing.
You can cancel any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you paid for. If you ask within 30 days of your first paid charge, we refund that charge. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email, except locked founding prices.
Your data
You own your data and your accounts. Your website, listings, social pages, ad accounts and customer lists stay in your name. You give us permission to use your data only to provide OwnerBot to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. When you leave, you get an exit kit with your pages, settings, keyword lists, reports, posts and review history. Ask for it any time up to 30 days after your account closes, and we will send a download link to a ZIP file within 7 days. Files come in common formats such as HTML, CSV and PDF. After those 30 days, we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. You can also ask us to delete your data sooner.
Websites we build or host
If OwnerBot builds a website for you, the price is $500 one-time, plus $25 per month for hosting. You edit your site by asking OwnerBot to change it, and it makes the edit and suggests SEO improvements.
- You own your site. Once the $500 is paid, the design and content of your website belong to you. We keep ownership of OwnerBot's software, tools and the general templates we build sites from, and you may keep using them as part of your site.
- You own your domain. Your domain is registered in your name and paid for by you. If we help you register it, it is still in your name, and we will give you full control of it whenever you ask.
- Hosting. The $25 per month covers hosting, security certificates and the edits you ask OwnerBot to make. It is billed monthly and you can cancel any time.
- If you cancel hosting. Your site stays up through the month you paid for. Ask for a copy of your site files any time up to 30 days after that, and we will send them within 7 days so you can host the site anywhere. After those 30 days, we take the site down and delete the files.
Our property
OwnerBot, its software, playbooks and brand belong to us. These terms give you the right to use OwnerBot while your account is in good standing, and nothing more. Google, Google Ads, Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram and WordPress are trademarks of their owners, and their use here does not imply endorsement.
Third-party services
OwnerBot connects to services we do not control. We are not responsible for their availability, their changes to their APIs or policies, or actions they take on your accounts.
Disclaimers
OwnerBot is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to cover our costs if a claim is brought against us because of content you approved, your use of OwnerBot in breach of these terms, or your breach of a connected platform's rules.
Ending these terms
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or if we have to for legal reasons, and we will give you notice when we can.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
If you have a problem, email us at [email protected] first, and we will try to work it out with you within 30 days. If we can't, any dispute about OwnerBot or these terms will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, in Maricopa County, Arizona. The arbitration may be held by video or phone. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court, or ask a court for an order to stop misuse of our accounts or property.
Claims may be brought only on an individual basis, not as part of a class or group action. Any court case allowed under these terms will be heard in the state or federal courts in Maricopa County, Arizona.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and email you about important changes before they take effect. If you keep using OwnerBot after that, the new terms apply.
